Astronomers use a variety of tools to observe the universe. Ground-based telescopes, like the Keck Observatory, and space-based telescopes, such as the Hubble Space Telescope, capture light across different wavelengths (visible, infrared, ultraviolet, etc.). Additionally, radio telescopes like the Arecibo Observatory detect radio waves, and instruments like the Chandra X-ray Observatory observe X-rays from high-energy processes.
